The Parliament has voted by a majority to authorize the Presidency to form a committee for communicating with political parties to take their observations on electoral laws before submitting them to the House for approval, Parliament spokesman Abdullah Blehaq has said.

The House also voted to form a committee consisting of high-ranking officials to discuss the fair distribution of wealth and oil revenues.

According to Belhaq, the committee consists of experts and MPs from several Parliament committees, including those concerned with the financial and energy sector, clarifying that a majority of MPs voted on a draft resolution regarding non-prejudice to sovereign wealth.

The MPs discussed during the session the equitable distribution of wealth and oil revenues, using them in the areas of development, preventing their use for political purposes, drafting the necessary legal amendments, and implementing them.
