Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed new partnership opportunities in the energy sector and revitalizing Libyan investments in Yemen during a phone call with Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak on Sunday.
According to the Government of National Unity (GNU), the leaders explored avenues of cooperation and joint agreements and exchanged views on local and regional developments.
PM Dbeibah emphasized Libya's support for Yemen's legitimacy and all initiatives aimed at achieving the security and stability of the Yemeni people.
The conversation builds on previous discussions, including a meeting held in November last year between Yemen's Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Saqqaf, and the Libyan Ambassador to Yemen, Idris Abu Bakr. The two officials discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the agricultural and maritime sectors.
