Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company has announced the delivery of its first shipments of the ethylene plant to global markets after the plant stopped operation for about 12 years.
On Friday, Ras Lanuf Oil Port received the ANTIKITHIRA Tanker which was loaded with an estimated 6,000 metric tons of a quaternary carbon mixture. The tanker will be heading to China.
The company said that this achievement and export of the first shipment of the ethylene plant was due to the efforts of its employees, and the support of the National Oil Corporation. The Ethylene plant started its operations after over a decade-long halt.
