The Russian Rescue team has set up a mobile field hospital in the city of Derna to provide medical assistance to the affected population and carry out emergency operations.

Russia sent humanitarian aid planes, delivering relief supplies, such as tents, blankets, portable power stations and lighting systems necessary to support those affected by the floods caused by Storm Daniel, according to the Russian TASS agency.

In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Emergencies announced that Russian rescuers had begun work in the most difficult affected areas in Libya, supporting local rescuers in areas of work that require special and great professional equipment, removing water from flooded places and searching for dead bodies.
