The Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, has stated that Sabha Airport is currently operating an average of 27 domestic flights, and will operate two international flights to Cairo and Tunisia next November.
This came during a meeting held on Sunday with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, to follow up on developments in activating Sabha and Ubari airports, stressing the need to follow up on the implementation of the Tripoli, Benina and Misrata airport projects.
Al-Shahoubi indicated that the Civil Aviation Authority is holding talks to adopt a number of security and technical measures for the return of Turkish Airlines to Mitiga, Benina and Misrata airports.
