The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, has warned that the current oil production could fall at any moment due to the lack of funding, which led to a lack of maintenance and the deterioration of the oil sector's infrastructure.
Sanallah added in a press statement that the NOC faced major problems in obtaining the required budgets, although the current government has obtained the highest numbers of revenues since 2013, as it received 26 billion dollars in 2021. However, the NOC received only 11% of the required budget, according to him.
