Serbia has reopened its embassy in the capital, Tripoli, while the Director of the North Africa and Middle East Department at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Djura Likar, confirmed that a Serbian consulate will soon be opened in order to provide services to Libyan citizens and facilitate their movement and travel, whether for work or study in Serbia.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Rahman Khamada, and the ambassador and members of the Serbian Embassy in Libya.

Khamada thanked the government and people of Serbia for its positions in support of Libya.
