South Tripoli Appeals Court accepts Sanallah's case in form but rejects urgent ruling
Administrative circuit court of the South Tripoli Appeals Court accepted in form the appeal case of the ex-chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah and his board members against the Unity Government's sacking decision, a judiciary source said.
The source said the circuit court rejected the urgent ruling request because the appointment of a new board headed by Farhat Bengdara exceeded two months.
Bengdara was named NOC Chairman by the Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah on July 07, replacing Sanallah. Bengdara took Tripoli office on July 14. Afterwards, Sanallah lodged an appeal case which was put off on July 27 and then again on August 17 before Wednesday's ruling.
