The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, met with the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Hussam Zaki, to discuss UN efforts to resolve the political deadlock in Libya.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the third Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, Turkey.
The two officials discussed the UN efforts to break the political impasse in support of the democratic path per the outcomes of the political agreement.
They also discussed the role of the Arab League in bringing closer the views of the Libyan parties and reaching a consensus away from unilateral initiatives.
