The Presidential Council (PC) hosted a meeting on Wednesday, grouping PC members Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi, Head of the High Council of State Muhammad Takala, and Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
The meeting reviewed the issues impeding the political process and agreed on a mechanism that includes all key parties to reach elections.
During the session, the HCS head gave a briefing on his recent visit to the United States.
The officials stressed the importance of working towards achieving stability in all regions to ensure the success of the electoral process and the national reconciliation project, which the PC said was "progressing steadily to achieve its goals."
