The General Exhibitions Authority is launching the 48th edition of the Tripoli International Fair on April 9 and will run until 15 of the same month according to a press release by the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
The fair this year will host companies and government institutions, in addition to 110 private local companies and foreign companies from six countries, namely Italy, Tunisia, Indonesia, Algeria, Turkey, and Romania.
The companies taking part are specialized in food industries, factory equipment, building materials, and construction.
Hosting the fair in March of each year was a long-standing tradition until it was suspended for years during the Gaddafi era who then allowed the fair to resume but on different dates.
