The Ministry of Culture has confirmed its intention to hold the Tripoli International Book Fair in its 12th session this year, after it was halted for years.
In a statement by Minister Mabrouka Toghi to Hakomitna platform, she considered that the exhibition will translate the return of cultural life to Libya, confirming that conditions have become appropriate for Libya to hold many cultural and artistic events and activities.
Toghi had discussed, on the sidelines of her participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, with the international, Arab, Egyptian, and Libyan publishers’ unions, holding the Tripoli International Book Fair, and ways to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the unions.
