The Municipality of Central Tripoli warned Sunday, that it will include tighter restrictions and take more strict action against those violating the curfew orders.

On its Facebook page, the municipality said that the new measures will be implemented in cooperation with the security directorate.

It said that some citizens are not adhering to the curfew, urging people to cooperate, in order to preserve their health and for the public interest.

The Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, Khaled Mazen chaired a meeting on Saturday, in which an agreement was reached to establish a mechanism to punish the curfew violators.
