The head of the Air Traffic Control Union of Tripoli, Nuri Abu Qassem, has stated that air traffic in all Libyan airports will be restricted for a period of 4 hours per day, from 9 am to 1 pm, as of Wednesday, June 21.

Abu Qassem explained in a statement that the resumption of take-off will take place after 1:00 p.m., and only one plane will be allowed to depart every half hour, noting that this will continue until the demands of the union are met.

The union held the Minister of Finance in the Government of National Unity, Khaled al-Mabrouk, responsible for this obstruction despite the issuance of instructions from the Prime Minister.
