The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the parallel government, Abdul Hadi Al-Hawaij, headed the government delegation participating in the activities of the International Economic Forum (Russia - the Islamic World), which is hosted by the city of Kazan in Tatarstan, Russian Federation, until May 19, with the participation of more than 1,500 representatives of Islamic countries.

Al-Hawaij said, in a speech, that there are many prospects for partnership and cooperation between Russia and the Islamic world, according to the parallel government’s statement on Facebook on Thursday.

The delegation included the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Awad Al-Badri, the Minister of Investment, Ali Al-Saidi, the Minister of Technical Education, Faraj Khalil, and the government’s Minister of African Affairs, Issa Mansour.
