The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya, Frank Baker, has reiterated his country's support to the Presidential Council and its government, and the UK's desire to contribute to restoring stability in Libya and unifying its state institutions.

During his meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council Ahmed Maiteq, Baker expressed the willingness of the British companies to resume their work in Libya, especially in the areas of health, water, and energy.

The meeting also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields and ways of developing them, in addition to the latest developments on the Libyan arena.
