UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said on Friday that there was no basis for the online documents purporting to represent the UN envoy's plan to address the political impasse in Libya.
The documents allege that a plan B, supervised by the United Nations, will be put forward if the House of Representatives and the High Council of the State failed to reach a consensus on the constitutional path.
"UNSMIL has not published a plan and continues to actively work with all actors to identify a Libyan-led way forward," the UN mission stated on Twitter Friday.
The mission noted that all announcements will be published on UNSMIL’s official social media channels and website.
