The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has expressed concern over the kidnapping of MP Ibrahim Al-Dressi, calling on the authorities to disclose his fate and secure his immediate release.
In a statement, the mission urged a thorough investigation into the circumstances of Al-Dressi's disappearance and hold those responsible accountable.
A video clip circulated by activists on social media showed Al-Dressi's car abandoned in an area east of Benghazi following his disappearance on Thursday.
