Two children were injured when a war remnant exploded on Airport Road in Tripoli, the Interior Ministry has confirmed, noting that the victims are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Following the incident, the Security Inspection and Explosives Disposal Team carried out a thorough search and inspection of the area. The ministry added that the team found several other unexploded ordnance and safely transported them to a designated location for disposal.
