The Acting Head of the UN mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams, said in a press conference on Monday that “the Joint Military Commission (JMC) is no longer called 5+5, but it is now called the Commission of 10”, confirming that “it is now a real joint Libyan group”.
Williams added that the two parties of the JMC have reached a considerable degree of consensus in Ghadames meeting.
She pointed out that they are working to implement the permanent ceasefire agreement to gain the confidence of Libyans, hoping that the political dialogue on November 9 in Tunisia to follow suit the JMC meeting.
