The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, and his accompanying delegation, the latest developments in the political process in Libya.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a number of regional issues of common interest, especially the file of illegal immigration and the mechanisms taken in this regard.
The importance of advancing serious work between Libya and Italy to strengthen and develop the bonds of cooperation and partnership in many fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples, was also stressed.
