The US Embassy in Libya praised the participation of a delegation from the Libyan Navy in the second annual African Maritime Forces Summit.
This summit was organized in Accra, Ghana, by US Naval Forces Africa in cooperation with Ghana Navy and other allies and partners from four continents.
The US Embassy stressed the vital role that Libya plays in the security of the Mediterranean, and expressed its aspiration to enhance cooperation with professional officers in the Libyan Navy throughout the country, thus contributing to enhancing maritime security and economic prosperity in Libya.
