The National Committee for Education, Culture and Science of the Ministry of Education has organized “The Scientific Meeting on Derna Dams, in the Aftermath of the Natural Disaster”, with the participation of UNESCO’s regional office and a number of state institutions. The meeting aims at collecting information, scientific reports, available documents, works and studies about Derna and Libyan dams, and to assess needs, and national priorities in order to reduce natural disasters and floods.
