The Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives, Aqilah Saleh, sent a letter to the UN envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, asking him to be bound to dealing with a new team for the political dialogue representing the HoR in the place of the former one, which signed the Skhirat agreement last December.

In a press statement, the spokesman of the HoR, Abdullah Belheeq, confirmed that Saleh stressed in his letter to Kobler the necessity of dealing with the new team as per the HoR’s ordinance (1) for 2016.

“The letter was sent to organize the work of the team in administrative and legal ways with the coming of the fresh meeting of the political dialogue on Monday and Tuesday in Tunisia under the supervision of the UNSMIL.” Belheeq added.

Belheeq announced the 13 names of the new team and all of them are HoR members who oppose the political agreement signed in December, except for the former team’s head, Mohamed Sahib, and member Saleh Hamma, who remained in their positions as before, knowing that the former team was composed of 4 members only.
