Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met on Wednesday with the female deans of faculties at Libyan universities in the presence of the Minister of State for Women's Affairs, Houria Tarmal, and members of the House of Representatives, Aisha Shalabi and Rabia Aburas. 

According to the government's media office, Dbeibah praised Minister Tarmal's efforts to organise meetings with women leaders at all levels and listen to their challenges at work.

The PM emphasized the importance of empowering women in all state institutions by providing them with appropriate opportunities, commending the efforts made by Libyan women in building and elevating the nation.

Tarmal affirmed that the government's efforts in supporting women and enabling them to hold leadership positions at high and middle levels are exceptional compared to previous governments, especially in leadership roles.
