The General Electricity Company (GECOL) has taken delivery of new equipment and spare parts crucial for the maintenance and overhaul operations at various power generation stations nationwide.
The company underscored the importance of these recent arrivals, particularly highlighting the spare parts provided by Siemens Germany, which have now reached the station sites through Mitiga International Airport.
"These parts are pivotal for completing major overhaul work on the fourth gas unit at the Ruwais power station," GECOL says.
Moreover, the company confirmed the receipt of essential spare parts destined for the Obari power station.
Seventeen containers of electrical cable reels from Al-Sweidi Company arrived safely at their Qarhbaluli warehouses after shipment via Misrata's maritime port, GECOL informs.
