The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has discussed the government's measures regarding the establishment of new schools, and the role of the Audit Bureau in ensuring effective procedures for implementing the project, due to its importance.

This came during his meeting with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, during which he confirmed that the Ministry of Education and the Agency for the Development of Administrative Centers completed the identification of sites according to the need, the ownership of the targeted lands, and the technical specifications of the approved models.

For his part, Shakshak confirmed the Audit Bureau support to provide a suitable environment for students, in light of the country's need to build new suitable schools, explaining that he will assign a special technical committee to ensure speedy completion.

The education sector in Libya suffers from the dilapidation and scarcity of classrooms of public schools. This is one of the reasons for the overcrowding of students in the classrooms.
