Al-Sweihli came fourth at the African Volleyball Championship (AVC), which was hosted by Al-Zamalik club in Cairo, Egypt, after losing the match for Samouha from Egypt 2-3 on Friday.
Whereas, Al-Ahli Benghazi came ten after losing the match against Najm Esteif from Algeria 2-3 on Sunday and thus the two teams representing Libya in the AVC left the competition.
Al-Sweihli lost the chance to qualify for the finale as it lost Thursday against Talaie Al-Jaysh from Egypt 1-3, while Al-Ahli beat CAFB from Cameroon 3-1 in the match of ninth to twelfth positions.
