The administrative and sports crews of the U-17 Libyan team have rejected an offer made by the Algerian Football Federation (AFF) to host the first and second leg matches between the two teams at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The two U-17 sports and administrative crews, headed by Fauzi Al-Isawi and Al-Safi Abu Bkir respectively, sent a letter to the Libyan Football Federation (LFF), saying that the Libyan U-17 team prefers to play the first leg match in Tunisia or Egypt if it could not play at home, pointing that the LFF will send a letter to its Algerian counterpart to inform it of the Libyan team’s response.

Previously, the LFF had received a letter from AFF offering to host the first and second leg matches of the game between Libya and Algeria as part of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers, offering also to bear the expenses of hosting the Libyan national team as well as the cost of travel.
