Misrata-based Sewehli volleyball club has qualified for the semi-finals of the African Volleyball Clubs Champions Championship on Monday after beating Al-Ahli from Benghazi three sets to one in the quarterfinals of the championship.
Sewehli went off with a flying start by winning the first and second set, but Al-Ahli bounced back to take the third round before Sewehli were able to take the lead again in the fourth round to qualify for the third consecutive time for the semi-finals of the African Clubs Championship.
Sewehli will face Egypt’s Talaea El-Geish in the semi-finals.
