The General Movement of Scouts and Guides in Libya has celebrated its 71st anniversary in an official ceremony with a marked attendance. The celebration took place in an atmosphere full of pride and a sense of belonging, and witnessed the participation of an elite group of leaders from various commissions in Libya, in addition to prominent figures from civil society and representatives of national institutions and Palestinian scouts. 

The ceremony included distinguished scouting shows and parades by scouting and guide teams. The movement's leaders and dignitaries also delivered speeches in which they emphasized the importance of the role of scouting in instilling national and humanitarian values and promoting volunteer work, which contributes to the renaissance of the homeland and serving society, in accordance with the principles on which the movement was founded since its inception in 1954.
