The Old City’s Dar Krista has hosted the opening of a photo gallery "Photography of the Tripolitanian Epic" by artist Salem Abu Deeb, who has masterfully documented the aesthetics of the old city through his camera, highlighting its religious and social rituals. The exhibition also showcased the beauty of the architecture that distinguishes the houses, mosques, and other landmarks. After a long career with the camera, Abu Deeb selected 100 photographs from among thousands he had taken, presenting what can be considered a photographic epic that captures the spirit of Old Tripoli. His work was not limited to photographing buildings and their architecture; but also focused on documenting the human and social interactions that reflect the city's identity and enrich its cultural and social character.
