An Italian trade delegation arrived in Zintan town in western Libya on Monday for talks with local officials on joint cooperation, sources have reported.

The Italian delegation includes mayor of Verona  Flavio Tosi and the Italian envoy to Libya Giorgio Starace, in addition to other businessmen.

The sources said both sides are expected to sign multi-million agreements to build a school, hospital, hotel, airport and food warehouses in Zintan.

In October 2016, Zintan and Verona signed in Italy a twin city agreement to enhance investment and development for both sides.
