Latest update of the Coronavirus in Libya – August 01

The number of COVID-19 infections in Libya has risen to 3691, with 2992 active cases.

The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 70 new cases on Saturday, distributed as following:

1. Tripoli: 31 cases
2. Qasr Khyar: 3 cases
3. Janzur: 3 cases
4. Benghazi: 1 case
5. Misrata: 23 cases
6. South Zawiya: 1 case
7. Bani Walid: 2 cases
8. Zliten: 5 cases
9. Surman: 1 case

NCDC also confirmed the recovery of 1 patient, raising the number of recoveries to 619.

The death toll of Covid-19 has risen to 80 after the registration of 6 deaths.
