The number of COVID-19 infections in Libya has risen to 5079, with 4320 active cases.
The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 200 new positive cases on Friday, distributed as following:
- Tripoli: 72 cases
- Batin Aljabil: 1 case
- Asaba’a: 7 cases
- Khoms: 5 cases
- Misrata: 55 cases
- Sabratha: 10 cases
- Tarhuna: 5 cases
- Janzur: 2 cases
- Zawiya: 11 cases
- Zliten: 25 cases
- Tobruk: 6 cases
- Bani Walid: 1 case
NCDC also confirmed the recovery of 8 patients, raising the number of recoveries to 660.
The death toll of Covid-19 has risen to 108 after the registration of 1 death.
