The number of COVID-19 infections in Libya has risen to 1791, with 1358 active cases.
The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 87 new cases on Friday, distributed as following:
- Tripoli: 24 cases
- Misrata: 6 cases
- Zlitin: 2 cases
- Khoms: 2 cases
- Gharifa: 4 cases
- Gharyan: 1 case
- Surman: 1 case
- Tarhuna: 4 cases
- Sabha: 31 cases
- Janzur: 2 cases
- Tragan: 3 cases
- Shati: 7 cases
NCDC also confirmed the recovery of 5 patients, raising the number of recoveries to 385.
The death toll of Covid-19 has risen to 48 after the registration of 1 death in Khoms.
