Air traffic resumed at Sabha International Airport on Friday, after a hiatus that lasted several years, as the airport received a Libyan Airlines plane coming from Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, according to the Libyan News Agency.
The agency quoted the director of the Libyan Airlines Company in Sabha, Saleh Al-Majri, as saying that the company has begun operating its domestic flights from Sabha Airport to Tripoli and Benghazi airports, with two flights per week.
The resumption of flights at the airport followed its rehabilitation to provide its services to the citizens of Sabha and the surroundingĀ municipalities.
