Tripoli Medical Center and Austrian medical services company Vamed signed Wednesday a contract for resumption of maintenance of the center’s medical equipment.
Vamed suspended work at Tripoli Medical Center four years ago due to the country’s security situations.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Tripoli Medical Center, Nabil Ajili, and the Managing Director of Vamed Management and Services, Christian Auberger.
Ajili praised all the efforts exerted in order to return the Austrian group and begin maintenance of the center, which halted for some time causing deterioration in the level of medical services provided to citizens.
He stressed that the contract also includes a consignment of modern equipment by the international company, which has been working for the center since 1996.
