The Libyan Red Crescent of Sirte brunch has recovered 14 decomposed bodies in the 720 neighborhood of Giza Bahariya in the city of Sirte.
The Red Crescent reported that the bodies were found during the work of removing destroyed buildings in the neighborhood carried out by the National Development Agency, after receiving a report from the city’s local authorities stating the presence of bodies in the neighborhood that was completely destroyed during the war of Sirte against ISIS in 2016.
The bodies were transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital to complete the procedures related to them and take DNA samples from each.
