The Ministry of Education of the Government of National Unity has stated that 232,652 students enrolled in the first grade for the new academic year 2023-2024, including 119,046 males and 113,606 females.
The Ministry has published enrollment conditions, as children who have completed the sixth year of age at the time of registration, or before the end of December of the same year, are admitted to the first grade of the basic education stage in public and private educational institutions.
