The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) recorded Wednesday at 03:33 am an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale in the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 70 kilometers northeast of Tobruk city in northeastern Libya.
According to local sources, this tremor was felt by residents of the eastern Libyan coast in the Qaara and Kambut regions, located 30 and 50 kilometers from Tobruk.
