The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bin Qadara, has revealed that 70% of Libya’s lands have not yet been explored, pointing out that this percentage provides huge opportunities for future growth in the oil sector.

Bin Qadara said in a speech during joint workshops with the US Department of Commerce and international oil companies in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, that Libya has enormous oil resources and the NOC is committed to developing these capabilities in cooperation with international partners. 

The workshops currently being organized in Cairo seek to strengthen partnerships with international oil companies, learn about the latest technologies in the field of oil production, in addition to discussing investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector, according to the NOC.
