Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdulsadiq, held talks with the Iranian ambassador to Libya on Monday to explore avenues for cooperation in the energy sector and address the challenges facing Libya’s oil and gas industry amid evolving regional developments.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Oil and Gas, the meeting, held in Tripoli, focused on partnership opportunities in oil, gas, renewable energy, and petrochemical manufacturing—aimed at increasing the added value of Libya’s natural resources.
The Ministry said that the meeting aligned with its broader strategy to expand international cooperation and exchange expertise with friendly nations in key economic sectors.
