The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons has announced the recovery of 74 bodies from the Al-Dhahr Al-Ahmar cemetery in the city of Derna, which were previously buried quickly following the torrents and floods that swept the city.
The authority said that the specialized teams took DNA samples from 60 bodies, bringing the number of samples taken from the bodies to 1,536.
The authority also buried 60 bodies in the cemetery of the Storm Daniel martyrs in the Al-Fattayah cemetery in the city of Derna after completing the legal procedures.
The number of cases that were reburied in the Al-Fattayah cemetery reached 512 bodies.
