Presidential Council member Mussa Al-Koni has asked the World Health Organization (WHO) to help support Libyan efforts to provide medical services to displaced people from neighboring countries.
This came during his meeting in Nairobi with the WHO Director General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, who affirmed the WHO support for Libya’s efforts to raise the efficiency of the health system to ensure access to health services and medical care for citizens in various Libyan cities, according to the Presidential Council Facebook page.
Al-Koni praised the WHO efforts to strengthen the health system in all the world, calling on Ghebreyesus to visit Libya to enhance cooperation in the health field.
