Al-Madar Al-Jadeed Company has confirmed the cyber safety of its systems from any hacking, explaining that verification message services are not limited to the WhatsApp application only, but rather for all social media applications and others.
In a post on its Facebook page, the company called on citizens to use two-factor authentication to further protect their WhatsApp accounts.
The Anti-Cybercrime Team said on Saturday that it had received many reports from people complaining that their WhatsApp accounts had been hacked.
