Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush has discussed developments in Niger during a phone call with her Chadian counterpart, Mohamed Salih Al-Nathif, the FM wrote on Twitter.
She confirmed the convergence of both countries' positions on "rejecting the coup" and "disrupting the democratic path in Niger."
According to Al-Manqoush, the top Chadian diplomat briefed her on the ECOWAS Group initiative, affirming Libya's support for the bloc's proposal and the importance of avoiding a breakdown of security in the region.
