Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush, arrived in Slovakia on Wednesday to follow up on the evacuation of Libyan citizens in Ukraine.

Minister Al-Manqoush gave her instructions to facilitate the work of the deportation committee and reassured the Libyan community that the government would do its utmost through its embassy in Slovakia to bring home safely all those wishing to return to Libya, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The first plane carrying Libyans from Ukraine to Libya will include around 170 people as a first batch, provided that other flights will follow successively, under the direct supervision of the foreign minister, according to the same source.
