Algeria has offered the parties in the Libyan conflict, the opportunity to embrace inclusive dialogue between all sides, in order to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis, following the declaration of a ceasefire by the Presidential Council (PC), and the House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk.

In a statement, the Algerian Foreign Ministry welcomed the announcement by Fayez Al-Sarraj and Aquila Saleh for a ceasefire on all Libyan soil, and the activation of a political process, adding that it is a testament to the consensual initiative, which reflects the will of the Libyan nation to settle the crisis and establish the sovereignty of the Libyan nation.
