The Libyan Antiquities Authority has announced the start of maintenance of the windmills in the Jaghbub Oasis, one of the most prominent landmarks of the region, which were founded in 1865.
This step comes as a continuation of the Tobruk Antiquities Monitoring plan to maintain archaeological sites located within the monitoring boundaries.
